Reconstruction After Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a surgery that improves blood flow to the heart used for people who suffer from severe coronary heart disease (CHD), During CABG surgery a healthy artery or vein from the body is grafted/connected to the blocked coronary artery in order to bypass the blocked portion of the coronary artery. After the CABG surgery, reconstruction may be necessary.
