Scar Revision

Scar revision is a procedure to improve or reduce the appearance of scars. There are a number of difference techniques used for scar revision by Dr Parviz including:

Skin Grafting – Where the Doctor uses skin from another area of your body. A technique suited to people who have had burns.

Laser Resurfacing – Laser treatment uses short pulses of light on the target area to remove skin layer by layer.

Tissue Expansion – This procedure promotes the growth of healthy supplementary skin used for the replacement of scarred skin by placing a silicone extender underneath the skin.
