Reconstruction Post Cancer Ablation
Reconstruction Post Cancer Ablation
Cancer ablation is a minimally invasive surgical approach used to treat a variety of solid cancers. Probes guided by Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are used to “burn” or “freeze” the cancers. After the cancer has been treated a variety of surgical reconstructive techniques may be used on the area.
